The Black Deck™
Built for the person who understands that the first act of power is learning the actual language of the system you've been living inside.

This deck holds 72 definitions the dictionary was never honest enough to print. Each one strips a common concept down to the machinery underneath, exposing who profits from the version you were taught and replacing the comfortable meaning with the one that explains why your life looks the way it does.

Who it's for

This deck was built for people who already know what it feels like to name a thing and watch it lose its power over them. For people who carry the book and want to carry the language. For people who are done needing the world explained to them and ready to stop letting the world run its definitions on them without a fight.

Definitions Included

Aging, Alchemist, Almost, Alpha, Anxiety, Architect, Authentic, Awakening, Back, Bleeding, Breadcrumbing, Chemistry, Chrysalis, Closure, Comfort Zone, Consent, Contract, Dangerous, Depression, Deserve, Empath, Ethics, Excuse, Executioner, Family, Favor, Fawn, Feeding, Forgiveness, Framing, Free, Ground Zero, Hate, Healing, Heretic, Hunger, Iconoclast, Identity, King, Love, Manifest, Manipulation, Marble, Mask, Metaphor, News, Nice, Nomad, Normal, Obedience, Pain Merchant, Parasite, Patriot, Pattern, Phoenix, Politician, Potential, Projection, Sheep, Shepherd, Silence, Sorry, Soulmate, Teeth, Therapy, Threshold, Tomorrow, Trauma Bond, Truth, Tyrant, Villain, Violence, Walking Dead

The Black Deck — Volume I

Part of The Black Book of Power™ by Stan Taylor

  • 72 cards. One definition each.
  • 320gsm black core card stock.
  • 2.5" x 3.5" cards with smooth texture.
  • Rigid black box included.

You've been thinking in a language designed to keep you still.

You inherited a vocabulary built to make obedience feel like wisdom and paralysis feel like patience.

But you can't outthink a cage when the language you think in was designed by the cage.

72 Surgical Corrections

Each card takes a single word and performs an autopsy on it. The definition you were given goes extinct. The real function, the one hidden underneath the cultural packaging, gets pulled into daylight.

Read One Card

Shuffle the deck. Pull a card. Read it slowly. You've used this word a thousand times.

Lose One Lie

Every card kills a definition that was keeping a pattern alive. One read and the word stops working the way it used to.

    Teh Black Deck

This is such a great idea! I carry them with me, and while others are mindless scrolling on their phones while waiting (for an oil change, Dr. appointments etc.), I am at least feeding my brain, strengthening the things I have learned from the BBOP. 'Alchemist' is still one of my favourites. Another is the one on Forgiveness. A very different view from what I have, and both of those are light year from what I was taught, what it says resonates within me.

I love the smell of Truth in the morning.

I love the smell of Truth in the morning. ♥️

This Black Deck helps me deepen the work in The Black Book of Power. Forget the tarots and woo, get grounded and free.

After reading & implementing The Black Book of Power twice, I pull one card per morning and study its definition because to understand and own language is to understand and own your power. Everything starts with the word.

    Every manipulation.

Every self-doubt or parasitic story pattern of self-betrayal.

Learn to master this and you gain stark clarity, influence, and become unfkwithable.

    It’s a beautifully made deck.

Reminiscent of Ambrose Beirce's Devil's Dictionary, only better.

I pick one at random daily to remind myself of the mission I am on. Wonderful.

    Love it

The deck has been a great tool for getting others to see, think and wake up. Along with reinforcing what we have learned in the book ourselves. Buy the book first. If you don’t read, get the audio book! It will change your life.

    Past present future

I use a 3 card spread, on occasions when I feel it to be necessary to have a new thought process on my mind. Contemplate the findings as a grain of salt, and go about my day. The vocabulary sticks and reminders of progress from my historical work from the book help integrate all of the change since discovering the full system Stan Taylor offers. The deck helps to channel observational cues and patterns, but is worded in ways that read differently depending on your mindset, that's where the magic happens - and is up for interpretation or speculation.

I bought 2 decks, no reason for the second - it's unopened. It would also receive a 5 star rating on it's own. Surely it will serve a purpose in the future in some way shape or form.

Quick delivery and proper packaging. I still have the original box the cards come in, but I'm not a fan of it mimicking a standard playing card deck, so I have them in a transparent satchel that I'm more likely to grab for, makes them seem more magical.

The reference tool for the psychologically honest. Keep it on your desk, your nightstand, or wherever you do your most dangerous thinking.
